he says he loves my smile
said it's my mommy's
then we play awhile
and he hugs me
says I remind him of his mother
and he gets something in his eye
he throws me in the air
and makes a face at me
he puts me on his shoulders
and then we talk
we go to the store
or by the shore we walk
he smiles at me
and I smile back
and maybe today
a beautiful sunset
